Honoured to have my music in the film ‘Hiçbir Şey Yerinde Değil’/ ‘Nothing In Its Place’ by the talented writer and director Burak Çevik.
Set in 1978 Ankara, it is a beautifully-made poignant rumination on political idealism, violence, defeat, and hope.
The film was commissioned by Jeonju Cinema Project, and received the following awards at the 2024 Adana Golden Boll Film Festival: Best Director, Special Jury Prize, & Best Art Direction.
A few of my tracks were included in the final season of ‘How To with John Wilson’

New Single Florin Court is out today.
It’s in two movements.
The first: a circling soaring perpetual motion…a reflection of my love for the keyboard as an instrument.
The second is a shuffling room of polite nods n awkward bows.
Made this flyer for the run of shows in the UK supporting Colin Stetson
Ard Diar, the first single from Afterpoem, is named after the courtyard in traditional Damascene houses.
It’s a reflection on the link between architecture & memory… the delicate intimacy of quotidian moments vs the sweeping hand of time. It’s these small moments, sometimes taken for granted, that often echo the deepest.

Cascando, originally out on Adult Swim, is now available via Fire Records as a digital single. It’s named after Samuel Beckett’s use of that term to describe a diminuendo in volume and/or tempo.
The track is also inspired by the moments before an orchestral performance, when musicians are tuning to one another.
This functional act of slowly aligning until they land on the same note becomes a symbolic gesture of unison, and an embodiment of the sense of anticipation... the space between the noise of chatter and a hush descending.
